Update on Bhaktin Chloe

Dear Prabhus:

Please accept my humble obeisances. All glories to Srila Prabhupada.

Thank you for your prayers! Bhaktin Chloe has had her sedation reduced. They got her to cough and swallow, to establish that she has her gag reflex.

Once that was established, they took her off the respirator! She's now awake and talking. Well, I think it's more like croaking so far because of her having had tubes down her throat.

Emily put her on the phone so I could talk to her and all I got was a kind of strangled "aaah" but hey, she's verbalizing! This kid died twice in the past week and here she is talking!

It'll still be slow going, especially for the dialysis, but then with Chloe you never know. And I guess her toes will have to be dealt with next. Sigh...

But, it's looking good. Thank you for all of your support.
