Distributing Books to a Tramp

I was once distributing Krsna Books in Dundee, Scotland (in the late 70's). A tramp started watching me. He seemed very interested but as he was really filthy and smelly looking, I was trying hard to ignore him so he'd go away. Finally he came up while I was talking to someone and started peering curiously at the books.

When my customer left, the tramp asked what I was selling. I said the books were stories about Krsna, the Supreme Personality of Godhead. He asked which volume it was, and I told him. Then he said, "Oh no, I got that one from Prabhupada when I was in Vrndavan" and walked off muttering.

Srila Prabhupada Patita Pavana Ki Jaya!!
