Dear Chakra Readers
Please accept my humble obeisances. All glories to Srila Prabhupada!
I want to express my disappointment after reading the article "Did Lord Nityananda Enter Srila Prabhupada’s Body?" During the search for the answer to a simple question —"How is it possible?"— we should simply stick to Prabhupada’s own words. Srila Prabhupada clearly stated that the undivided and unflinching faith in his spiritual master had been his only qualification. There was no other reason for his success.
Now, if we start to speculate and think of any other reason, especially as stupid as the described one, we’ll come to a very dangerous area. First, such speculation appeared in ISKCON in 1970 in New Vrindaban. I think it’s a well known story, described by Satsvarupa Maharaj in Lilamrta in detail.
What’s the result of such speculation? – Mayavadi! If we start to think that Lord Nityananda entered Prabhupada’s body then we’ll naturally come to the conclusion that Prabhupada is Lord Nityananda Himself, because no jiva could perform such a task. And this is the least wanted conclusion and a disservice to Srila Prabhupada.
Srila Prabhupada is the very special Acarya but that does not allow us to speculate about his position. If we do not stick strictly to Prabhupada’s teachings, then we’ll end up with such a mess as Christianity did 300 years after Christ. Do we really want to let bogus philosophies arise such as "mysterious Three in One"? or that Prabhupada is Krsna?
Certainly not. That’s why we should admit that Srila Prabhupada is the pure jiva with full faith in the spiritual master who had no other business in his life than to execute the order of his spiritual master. Where did Prabhupada say that one requires to be Lord Nityananda to preach to mlecchas and yavanas? Rather he preached over and over again to have full faith in the spiritual master and no other business in life but to execute the order of the spiritual master. All other speculations are least welcomed.
