While Anonymous didn't seem to fully understand my point, I very much respected his reply. I don't believe, however, that if this realization that Nityananda had physically entered Srila Prabhupada's body were universally accepted, that, that implies that "bhakti and purity would not be accessible" to our humble selves. We (well maybe not me, but you) are equal to the Lord in quality, but not quantity. Yoga means "linking up," and the disciplic succession is that chain. Just like grabbing hold of the rope on the Rathyatra Cart, we can grab hold of that chain. This is the point of initiation, to be on the path toward bhakti and purity. The spiritual master instructs through his words and deeds and thus we learn purity.
