Dear Devotees,
Please accept my humble obeisances. All glories to Srila Prabhupada!
I would like to comment on Rasa Lila's letter regarding "Mayapur: Where are They?"
As the web administrator for www.mayapur.info, I would like to assure Rasa Lila prabhu and others that the omission of matajis from the website has been unintentional.
Tusti Mohan Krsna prabhu, who has been providing the digital photos, has been sequestered in the GBC meetings, without any opportunity to obtain photos of the women who are attending Mayapur's festival.
New postings on www.mayapur.info now include matajis participating in booths at Sri Mayapur Dhama, and more will appear once the festival is in full swing.
Please forgive any offenses. Having seen ISKCON progress through many changes over the past 15 years, from my perspective it appears very clear that women make up the backbone of ISKCON, as they are the mothers of future generations of devotees.
