Dear Chalissal,
I want to thank you many times for your article.
I've myself seen much abuse of animals: piglets being castrated without anesthetic, being killed because it was uneconomic to cure them of their diseases, etc. Still, I'm surprised, hearing of the atrocities that are committed in these state-sanctioned murder-houses.
We need only to see to the state of the world to be convinced of the way this affects us. According to the law of karma, anything we dish out comes right back to us.
Look at the state of affairs in the Middle-East, on the brink of war. Think of September 11th. As long as the killing of animals continues, we can expect this to continue as well, and escalate.
