When the
Well Runs Dry By Jayasri dasi
Dear Tamal Krsna Goswami (TKG), All glories to your wonderful service to Srila Prabhupada. There is an old saying: "You don’t miss the water until the well runs dry." We will miss you more than we previously realized. Just as when Srila Prabhupada left, we who remain behind, trying to withstand the difficult material energy, find a great void in our lives. The loss of a person such as you, a stalwart devotee, a great preacher, a great general in Lord Caitanya’s army, and most of all a kind well-wisher, is very difficult to deal with. It makes us most unhappy. Our only solace is that in the future we will be in a completely peaceful situation again sharing the association of great souls like yourself and Srila Prabhupada. Kali Yuga is very difficult to bear, but with the association of empowered devotees like you we are able to have enthusiasm and hope to participate in the great spiritual mission at hand. Please accept our most humble obeisances and please forgive any offenses that we may have committed, and if possible please still inspire us on our path back to Home back to Godhead. Thank you for your association and inspiration. Your Godsister and friend, © CHAKRA 9 April 2002 |
