Driving
while Drowsy By Bhakta Keith
I am writing in response to HH Danavir Maharaj's recent essay on driving safely. In one part he cautions that one should cease driving when the eyelids become heavy. Feeling a heavy sensation in one's eyelids is, of course, a relative term. I think that a more precise (and easy to follow) suggestion would be: "If you yawn twice in less than ten minutes, it is time to take rest." This is my advice to people in general, and I think that it especially applies to this situation. Your servant, © CHAKRA 14 May 2002 |
