Dear Amara Prabhu,

Please accept my most humble obeisances. All glories to Srila Prabhupada!

Thanks for your letter, entitled "Give us a Break." Sorry to inform you, though, that I find it silly, to say the least. One could easily have inferred from the original article that Srila Prabhupada initiated people who were engaging in same-sex fornication, so I added the clarification. There is nothing in what I said that could imply that homosexuals have a harder time controlling their senses than heterosexuals.

I have lost my patience with all these special-interest groups who think they can use Chakra as a forum for venting their hysteria. It would do these people a lot of good to get up off their chairs and do some preaching and book distribution instead of sitting around all day feeling sorry for themselves.

Are you unhappy with the way ISKCON is run? Then open your own center and show us all how to do it.

Is some mataji unhappy because the RVC is for boys only? Then let her open her own school. So many women are writing in to say how intelligent they are, so why don’t they open a school for girls? Why are they waiting for some man to do it for them? Mother Laxmimoni did it, so don’t say it cannot be done.

And by the way, I notice that I do not get any griping letters from women like Mother Laxmimoni. I guess they are too busy serving Srila Prabhupada. And don’t bother telling me that these women are not respected.

I am tired of getting nasty letters from the people I have been trying to help, so I am ending this debate right now. It is finished. I will not post any more articles concerning this issue. I have better things to do with Chakra. My apologies to all of you who have written in and whose letters will not be published.

Chakra is a Vaishnava news site meant for inspiring devotees and for defeating philosophical deviations. It is not a sandbox for catfights. The misogynists and the gay-bashers and the feminists and the gay-rights activists are all deviants, and they can open their own websites.

And don’t expect any more replies to nasty e-mail. It will simply be deleted.

Enough is enough.
