Dear Maharajas, Vaisnavas and Vaisnavis,
Please accept our respectful obeisances. All glories to Srila Prabhupada! All glories to Sri Sri Guru and Gauranga! All glories to Their Lordships Sri Jagannatha, Sri Baladeva, and Srimati Subhadra Devi!
On Saturday, Sept 28th, 2002, we will be holding our first Ratha Yatra festival in Niles, Michigan. We will be taking our family Jagannatha Deities out on parade as part of the local Apple Festival held every year in Niles, Michigan, USA.
We are begging the world assembly of devotees to kindly bless these humble attempts at glorifying Their Lordships Jagannatha, Baladeva, and Subhadra Maharani. Please bless us that this festival will be pleasing to Them and that the residents of Niles will enjoy Their blessings.
The parade is set to start at 12:30 PM (EDT) in the vicinity of Main and Front streets and will pass through downtown Niles, ending at the airport grounds.
Any devotees wishing to participate may come directly to the starting point of the parade (look for out float, toward the rear of the line-up).
