Why the Name "Chakra"?

Dear nice Devotees,

First, let me say I appreciate the news, views of all the devotees that come into my house (via computer). There are so many different types of devotees and all with something to give.

But — oh yes, there's a but — why oh why didst thou in all your web wisdom call the site Chakra? Didst thou not know that Sri Visnu has two objects for His devotees— flower and conch— and two objects for chastisement, one a club and the other a chakra?

Now I'm sure you all gave mighty thought to the naming of your site. Why did you all call it by the name Chakra? I know it's not because you want to chastise us all? I can tell that by your content.

Yours
Bhakta Jack

[The Lord’s chakra is a weapon against those who would harm the devotees, as described in the Ninth Canto of Srimad Bhagavatam, in the pastimes of Maharaja Ambarisa. We call the site Chakra because it is meant to be a weapon against speculation and philosophical deviation. —Ed]
