All Glories to Srila Prabhupada and Lord Chaitanya's Sankirtan Movement

Reading about Lovisha certainly did trigger some horror, etc., and as we know, this horror upon animals goes on as a normal daily affair meant for sale in the supermarkets. So therefore, we can understand that this brutality will be reflected in human society due to the laws of karma.

This incident triggered a memory of Toronto: While selling paintings door to door, I was reading a front-page article of a detailed and similar nature that had occurred around Toronto. No hate crime involved per se. In fact, this front page article, which continued on the next page, was so graphic, that while walking from door to door I had to check myself from gagging etc.

So much horror goes on daily, which we do not hear of. Srila Prabhupada requested us to go out daily and perform Harinam sankirtan and distribute his books and prasadam. By doing this we are benefited and those around are benefited. Even a moment’s association with Lord Chaitanya's names can save one from the darkest destination. According to the story, Lord Buddha Himself was so shocked to see old age and death that this triggered his renounced life.

Horror , hatred, anger , prejudice, etc.— these are normal aspects of Kali-yuga. What is opposed is Lord Chaitanya's sankirtan movement, which we have the opportunity of somehow assisting in. So going out and chanting Hare Krsna alone or with others, even just for one hour — there is no loss and only gain.
