Hare Krishna! All Glories to Srila Prabhupada!

My name is Nandini devi dasi, and I want you to know that much is happening here in New Govardhan Hill, in the beautiful mountains here in Puerto Rico.

About three years ago, Vakreshavara Pandit prabhu returned to his eternal service to his spiritual master, Srila Prabhupada, serving once again in the Puerto Rico yatra. Upon his return, the temple property was in shambles. Overgrown, the land had been unkept for years. The temple itself had also been neglected, and the devotees here, though very sincere, could barely maintain the deities.

Mother Kamaghiri prabhu a senior disciple of Srila Prabhupada, came to assist, organizing the kitchen, offerings, and Sunday Feast, and because of her service, the Lord and his devotees enjoy ecstatic prasadam.

By the inspiration and dedication of Vakreshava Pandit prabhu’s service and that of all the devotees here, today our temple has transformed into an all-attractive spiritual paradise, complete with beautiful meditative botanical gardens.

On Janmastami, we installed Sri Giri Govardhana and offered Their Lordships a magnificent Shringasana, hand carved with much devotion by a dear devotee from Russia, Sramana prabhu. He finished this project from start to finish in only three months. Krsna Bhakti Ki Jai!

On November 10, to honor Govardhana Puja, we will celebrate our 25th Jubilee Anniversary to commemorate 25 years of service here in Puerto Rico, complete with abhisek of Sri Giri Govardhan and installation of Sri Sudarsana Chakra.
