“They watched a PowerPoint presentation by Deva Gaura Hari dasa, which convincingly and systematically concludes that Srila Prabhupada’s passing away was due to entirely natural causes.”

GBC hears poison arguments

Mayapur, India (February 24th, 2000)-

The GBC body today heard convincing evidence that Srila Prabhupada was not poisoned. After hearing Balavanta’s report, which seemed inconclusive, they watched a PowerPoint presentation by Deva Gaura Hari dasa, which convincingly and systematically concludes that Srila Prabhupada’s passing away was due to entirely natural causes.

Many of the arguments given in the presentation have already been covered in previous CHAKRA articles, however CHAKRA will make the entire PowerPoint presentation available for downloading by March 15th, 2000. The entire file is about 4 MB in size and is not practical to upload to CHAKRA from India.

In other news, GBC members are discussing the impressive future development of the Mayapur project. Abhirama dasa presented the latest model of the Temple of the Vedic Planetarium and discussed the development of various stages of it’s construction.

In the last two days, they also heard a presentation by the ISKCON central office of child protection. GBC subcommittees have begun work on the many proposals, which were pre-processed by the Deputies in the days leading up to the beginning of the meetings.

Guru reform, GBC restructuring, ritvik issues, and many other important topics are all on the agenda this year.
