VNN's
"Death of COM" not fooling me By Balarama Dasa Hare
Krishna. Recently,
an article entitled 'the death of com' appeared on VNN. I have this to say
about that article, and 70% of everything else I read on VNN: One
of the worst things about the material world is how easy it is for a
person who is fool number one to write down a bunch of lies that don't
even *begin* to hang together logically, grammatically or in any other
way, then spread them around to other fools who take it as gospel. This is
the method used by the Ritviks, the Poison Purana wallas, and in general
every sorry SOB with an axe to grind. The worst thing is that people
actually *fall* for this stuff, and to defeat it, you have to do *so* much
work, since practically every word is fallacious in one way or another;
the entire piece has to be deconstructed one word at a time. Then, to top
things off, when you're done trouncing them into the dust they refuse to
admit defeat, and come out with another literary pearl even more spurious
than the last. I don't know what the solution to this is, though I have my
opinions. But I do have this to say, Mr. Kruma Rupa Krsnadasa: you're not
fooling me. I see right through your word jugglery. I
think that about covers the situation. Thank you. Hare Krishna. Your
servant, Balarama Dasa © CHAKRA 11-April-2000 Go to the VNN Page |
