Dear Chakra readers,

Some of you may have recently read an editorial on the VNN website, submitted by Hrishikeshananda prabhu, in which a number of allegations were made against Torchlight Publishing and myself. Regrettably, VNN made no attempt to investigate the veracity of these allegations before making them public. I have asked them to make amends by either withdrawing this unsubstantiated article, or by publishing my letter to them, but to date they have not complied. I therefore thought I should write to this forum, which I know shares many readers with VNN. I won't bother you with the details of my side of the story, but I have to say that the claims made on VNN are, from my point of view, unfair and inaccurate. My perception of the events described by Hrishikeshananda is somewhat different from his, and if anyone does have any concerns over the issue then they would be well advised to hear both sides before reaching any conclusions.
