On April 12, 2000, VNN published an article by Jagadish Pandit das called "ISKCON and Non-ISKCON" in which numerous false allegations were made against Hi Holiness Gour Govinda Swami. 

This article was in violation of VNN's own published standards for article submissions found under 'letters', which specifically state that, "It is inspiring to hear vaishnavas glorified, but not at the expense of others." "If at the center of an article is the attempt to prove that one particular group of vaishnavas or acharyas is superior to others or is the only bonfide, the article is not in the spirit of VNN" and "VNN may not publish derogatory information about a vaishnava who has left this world and is not here to defend himself." 

VNN published what can only be decisively understood as their own presumptions and agenda in that article, which fabricated lies about and attempted to use Gour Govinda Swami, to foolishly claim Narayana Maharaja as the next acharya of ISKCON, present a false understanding of what is ISKCON, and harmfully encourage devotees away from ISKCON and into Narayana Maharaja's camp. We can clearly understand VNN's intention, because they continue to regularly publish such misleading and deluding articles such as, "What is the Gaudia Sampradaya" and "Jadurani's 'Tour de Grace.'" 

Yet they have not responded to numerous contacts from us for almost three weeks now and it appears that they have no intention of publishing our response refuting every concocted lie and delusion that has been wrongly made to tarnish the purest and shining character and position of His Divine Grace Srila A. C. Bhaktivedanta Swami Srila Prabhupada, the Founder Acharya and his Institution ISKCON, and also that of his dear disciple, Gour Govinda Swami. Therefore, in an effort to let Internet readers know what they have stumbled onto, I suggest that VNN should change their name to VANN (Vaishnava Aparadha News Network).

Jagadish Pandit Das, the author of "ISKCON and Non-ISKCON", now claims that actually one of Srila Prabhupada disciple who used to take care of Srila Prabhupada's room in ISKCON's Sri Sri Radha Govinda Mandir in Brooklyn NY, but is now following Narayan Maharaj, invented all kinds of stories to lend believability to that outside group's bogus agendas. However, disciples who accompanied Gour Govinda Swami at all times emphatically confirm that Gour Govinda Swami has not met Narayan Maharaj. Narayan Maharaja started his unstoppable forays into ISKCON immediately after the glorious disappearance of Gour Govinda Swami in Sridham Mayapura on Srila Bhaktisiddhanta Saraswati Thakura's appearance day, at the moment of ecstatically describing the eye-to-eye union of Sri Sri Radha and Krsna in Vrindavan. Gour Govinda Swami powerfully protected this movement against outsiders by his absolute purity, vast learning and powerful preaching. He is very much against devotees leaving ISKCON and joining other groups. Over and over again he strongly and conclusively preached that everything is in His Divine Grace Srila A.C. Bhaktivedanta Swami Srila Prabhupada's books, and that if the devotees stay in ISKCON they will definitely get Krishna prema. Gour Govinda Swami is a pure devotee of Lord Krishna from his very birth, a spiritual master of topmost spotless character, and he completely dedicated his life to the instructions of his spiritual master Srila Prabhupada.

We have audio and video recordings of numerous lectures delivered by him that clearly indicate that ISKCON devotees must remain faithful to the Institution created by His Divine Grace Srila A.C. Bhaktivedanta Swami Srila Prabhupada. We request our readers to ignore the false allegations made with fabricated stories by the author of "ISKCON & NON ISKCON. It is a simple basic principal behind every publishing magazine, newspaper or any other kind of media that if one party has made allegations, then the other party is given a fair chance to defend themselves. These are the basic principles of any editorial staff. I am ashamed that a group of VNN editorial staff claims to be devotees, but their actions are worse then the one prevails in the business (Karmi) world.
