Indian Prime Minister Message

August 19, 2000: The Prime Minister of India, Mr. A.B. Vajpayee, has sent
the following letter of best wishes to the ISKCON devotees in New Delhi:
I am pleased to know that ISKCON will be
celebrating Shri Krishna Janmashtami on August 23, 2000 at its magnificent
temple in New Delhi. Lord Krishna's message of discipline and dedication
to duty is one that all of us, irrespective of our beliefs, can learn much
from. The International Society for Krishna Consciousness deserves
commendation for its extensive work in spreading this message.
I convey my best wishes to ISKCON and
and to all followers of Lord Krishna.
