Lima Rath Cart Wins Prize

CHAKRA (Lima, Peru) - On 23rd of July ISKCON Lima participated, for the first time, in a parade for Independence day, organized by a well known company here. At that event 90 different companies participated, each with their own float. Over one hundred thousand people attended the parade, and it was broadcast on television.

The award ceremony took place at the Marriott hotel, and the organizers showed their appreciation for our participation, and gave us a prize for the most original cart of the event.

These is how Lord Jagannatha is engaging wealthy people in His service, giving them His mercy, and helping them to appreciate the Sankirtana movement.
