Premier of British Columbia, Canada, attends Vancouver Ratha Yatra

CHAKRA (Vancouver, Canada) - The honorable Premier of British Columbia was the special guest of honor at ISKCON Vancouver's 26th. annual Ratha Yatra festival.

More than 10,000 people joined the celebration and over 6,000 full plates of Krishna prasad were distributed throughout the afternoon. 

The Rathayatra festival takes place in world renowned Stanley park. The parade itself goes along the ocean front on the peripheral of Vancouver's densely populated West End. His Holiness Bir Krishna Goswami, His Holiness Bhaktimarga Swami and His Grace Harivilas Prabhu, were also present to host guests and add an increased spiritual enthusiasm.
