Inauguration of Temple in
Manipur, India CHAKRA (Manipur, India) - My Dear sincere servants of His Divine Grace Srila Prabhupada, I pray for Srila Prabhupada's blessings upon all of you. I like to thank you for your wonderful service in Srila Prabhupada's
mission. The Grand Inauguration of Sri Sri Radha Krishnachandra Manimandir,
the centerpiece of University of Bhagavata Culture, is scheduled on the
auspicious Kartika Purnima, Saturday, November 11, 2000. His Highness Sri Gajapati Maharaja, the King of Puri, descendent of King
Prataparudra, will attend the function and will bring three brahamanas to
have a special installation ceremony of Lord Jagannath, Lord Baladeva and
Srimati Subhadra Maharani. The Prime Minister of India will be requested
to be the Chief Guest of this inaugural function. Many dignitaries, national and international will participate in this
Grand Inauguration festival. Many national and international cultural
groups for example, Ramayana artists from Bali, Indonesia will be
participating. The program will be from November 11, 2000 to December 2,
2000. You are all requested to come and participate. You should plan to arrive
to Imphal, Manipur around the 7th or 8th of November 2000. If you decide to come, you should send two copies of your photos and
photocopy of your passport for your Manipur Visa to Sriman Ajit Das, C/o
ISKCON, Hare Krishna Land, Airport Road, Imphal 795 001, Manipur, India.
If you can bring some donations including money or any other gifts as an
offering to Sri Sri Radha Krishnachandra, Sri Sri Jagannath Baladeva
Subhadra, Sri Sri Gaur Nitai, Srila Prabhupada and Srila Bhaktisiddhanta
Prabhupada, it will be greatly appreciated. I look forward to receiving all of you in Imphal, Manipur, India. Hare
