“One answer to this problem is to publish as many children’s books as possible for the children and lay a Krishna Conscious foundation for them.”

Vedic Arts Children Books
By Syamasundara das

Dear Prabhus,

Srila Prabhupada said in 1973, “these children are the future of our society. It is important that we train them from the very beginning.”

Unfortunately, recent reports suggest ISKCON has failed in educating its children. If true, and if the trend continues, how would Srila Prabhupada's movement continue for another 10,000 years?

Many parents have given up hope of finding a genuine Krishna conscious school for their children and resorted to sending them to “karmi” schools.

One answer to this problem is to publish as many children’s books as possible for the children and lay a Krishna Conscious foundation for them.

This was Prabhupada's idea. Over the last few years, Vedic Arts, a publishing house of world-class children's books in India, has been attempting to do just that. Already we have published nearly one hundred titles.

We feel encouraged when temples and others take advantage of this opportunity to help the children in their respective areas.
