Besides this we do not find omniscience listed among the twenty-six qualities of a pure devotee, nor is omniscience one of the fifty qualities of a jiva soul. SVARUPA DASA

Was
Prabhupada Omniscient? Please accept my humble obeisances. All glories to Srila Prabhupada. This is a response to your recent article: Awareness Beyond the Restriction of Matter posted on CHAKRA. Dear Atul Krishna Prabhu, If you where called into the court where the case about the child abuse is going on and where asked by the judge to answer the question, "Was Srila A.C. Bhaktivedanta Swami aware about that the children in some of ISKCON's schools where sexually abused?" would you answer "yes" to the question? If you would answer "yes" and if your answer would be the deciding factor in the child abuse case then the court would no doubt decide that Srila Prabhupada is a criminal. They would come to that conclusion because if Srila Prabhupada knew that the children where sexually abused in the schools that he himself had established and at the same time he didn't take immediate action against it he is according to law a criminal. If your answer would be "yes" to the judge then I would like to ask you how do you think that it is a glorification of Srila Prabhupada to try to make him look like a criminal? Besides this we do not find omniscience listed among the twenty-six qualities of a pure devotee, nor is omniscience one of the fifty qualities of a jiva soul. In C.C. Madhya-lila, Chapter 23 Lord Caitanya is teaching Sanatana Goswami about who possesses the quality of “omniscience.” Madhya 23.76) "Krishna is the Supreme, and He is always glorified as the Supreme Lord and controller. Thus all the previously mentioned transcendental qualities are in Him. The fifty qualities of the Supreme Personality of Godhead above mentioned are as deep as an ocean. In other words, they are difficult to fully comprehend. Madhya 23.77) "These qualities are sometimes very minutely exhibited in living beings, but they are fully manifest in the Supreme Personality of Godhead.” Madhya 23.78) "Apart from these fifty qualities, there are five other qualities found in the Supreme Personality of Godhead that are partially present in demigods like Siva. Madhya 23.79) "These qualities are (1) the Lord is always situated in His original position, (2) He is omniscient, (3) He is always fresh and youthful, (4) He is the concentrated form of eternity, knowledge and bliss, and (5) He is the possessor of all mystic perfection."
