Tribhuvannatha
Prabhu Terminally ill Mayapur,
India - (March 8, 2001): Tribhuvannatha Prabhu, a senior disciple of Srila
Prabhupada who joined ISKCON in England soon after devotees first arrived
there, has been diagnosed with terminal cancer while visiting Nairobi,
Africa. He
returned to the U.K. last weekend. The
cancer is in an advanced stage, and it is suspected by doctors to have
spread to his lymph glands. Doctors are recommending removal of the
stomach followed by chemotherapy. If
he does not have his stomach removed the doctors predicted he would not
live more than a few months. "Tribhuvannatha
intends to travel to Brazil to see the healer Sridhar Swami has been
seeing," reports Panca-pandava dasa from Bhaktivedanta Manor in the
U.K. "He is not enthusiastic about undergoing chemotherapy." Panca-pandava
also reported, "I think after his return from Brazil he will want to
go to Vrndaban." © CHAKRA 10 March 2001 Go to the Other News Page |
