New Mailing List for Achintya Bedha Abedha Vedanta

It is our pleasure to announce the formation of a new mailing list: "achintya." (achintya@yahoogroups.com)

The Achintya Bedha Abedha Tattva list is a moderated forum created in 1998 to promote discussions on the philosophy of Sri Caitanya Mahaprabhu. The list is unique in that it allows devotees to discuss Gaudiya Vaishnava philosophy in a forum where brahminical etiquette is strictly maintained.

All aspects of Gaudiya Vaishnavism are considered appropriate for the list, especially discussions on the philosophy of Achintya Bedha Abedha Tattva as taught by His Divine Grace A.C. Bhaktivedanta Swami Prabhupada. Controversial topics are welcome on the list, but devotees are asked to refer to scriptures (Vedas, Puranas, Itihasas, etc.) and their commentaries as primary authorities. Unsubstantiated personal opinions, sentimentalism, fanatical behavior, and politically-charged remarks will not be permitted on the list, which exists primarily to help devotees strengthen their understanding of Sri Caitanya's system of Vedanta. Devotees will thus find the achintya list an ideal place to grow and learn as followers of Srila Prabhupada.
