Comment Regarding Jayasri's Article

I would like to comment on Jayasri's article regarding "Krsna Conscious Marriage".

Although the premise of this article is correct, I think the emphasis is all wrong. Rather than focusing on who should be the head of household, and how a wife should be this, that and the other with her husband, why not instead focus on devotional service period?

Relationships and the dynamics of a relationship get complicated. Women and men do not necessarily have traditional roles in Kali-Yuga.

With this in mind, let's focus on the variegated ways we can perform devotional service. Enough about men and women. I personally do not need to be reminded all the time that I occupy a woman's body. This I know. I know the social rules that go with that as well. I visit Chakra's website to read the nectar associated with preaching activities and festivals, not so much for the relationships advice.
