To my vartma pradarsaka guru,
George Harrison Prabhu,
Whose words in the Foreword
Of Krsna Book Two,
Gave me faith to read on
And great inspiration
To take it all in
With intense meditation.

Prabhu George, your words
Captivated my mind
And drew it by song
The eternal to find,
Before I knew Krsna,
I sensed Him in you,
As you sang of another
Kind of love that was true.

To George Harrison Prabhu,
Who wrote "My Sweet Lord"
And who wove Krsna's name
Into every chord,
Who respected and loved
Our acarya most dear,
Srila Prabhupada,
May he help you come near
to Lord Krsna now,

For all that you gave me,
I pray now... for you
