Radha Devi Dasi in Critical Condition, Please Pray

Dear Devotees,

Please accept my humble obeisances. All glories to Srila Prabhupada.

I am writing to ask for the prayers of all the Vaishnavas. My very close friend Radha Vrndavana Chandra has been in a severe car accident.

Radha Vrndavana was born and raised in Krsna Consciousness. She was named after the Dieties in New Vrndavana and her parents, Upendranatha and Shankari, are both initiated disciples of Srila Prabhupada. Radha Vrndavana attended the Gurukula in Los Angeles as a child. She met Srila Prabhupada on many occasions and was given cookies by him personally.

She grew up to be a beautiful young woman and later gave birth to a son, Jayananda, named after the famous devotee who built Ratha Yatra Carts. Just three months ago she gave birth to a baby girl. Radha was in the back seat of the car with her daughter when another car struck it, and Radha was thrown from the car. The doctors have said her injuries are severe and have given her only 10 hours to live.

But being devotees of Krsna we know that anything is possible by His grace. My request is that as many devotees as possible all over the world may pray for the soul of Radha Vrndavana Chandra and her family. Please pass this message on to as many devotees as possible and let us join together to pray for the wellbeing of this sweet Vaishnavi in this life or the next.

I've talked with Krodasyamani, yoga instructor and dear friend from Los Angeles. Radha's condition maybe stabilizing, so keep the prayers coming. Radha's father asked the doctor if he would consider it a miracle if Radha awoke from her coma. The Doctor said yes and went on to stay that "miracles do happen." Prayers are the staple of miracles, for prayers are of miracles.
