CHAKRA (Spanish Fork, Utah, USA) - The Radha Krishna Temple in Spanish Fork, Utah would like to cordially invite everyone to the following upcoming celebrations:

Sri Krishna Janmastami (Krishna’s Birthday) celebration is to be held this coming Thursday, September 2 beginning from 9 PM and lasting through the midnight arti and prasadam.

Ganesh Caturthi Sunday September 12th. After 5pm there will be a special Ganesh puja, arotik, bhajans, and prasadam.

The biggest festival of all will be held Saturday Sept. 18th from 4 pm until 9:30pm. This will be the 13th Annual festival of India/ Rama Vijay program, which attracts 4-5,000 people annually. Attractions on stage will include: Laria Meenaskshi and Brat Ghose doing Odissi classical dance; the Lotus Dance Company from Northern California; the local instrumental and vocal group with C.K. Ramachandran and George Grant, called “Melodies of Ancient India”; the Nam Rock band headed up by Titiksava Karunika on lead guitar and vocals; pageant of the Ramayana, complete with burning of Ravana by spectacular fireworks.

All profits will go towards the ongoing construction of the temple here in Spanish Fork.
