“You will always be in my prayers... |
Reply to
Raghunatha Stocker By Bhuvanapavani devi dasi Dear Raghunatha, Please accept my fallen obeisances. All glories to
Srila Prabhupada. As the mother of a child (now 30) brought into ISKCON
in 1972 and two more born into ISKCON, and as a former Gurukula teacher, I
beg for your forgiveness in all that you have suffered at the hands of the
adults, our hands... My children suffered similarly and it has left scars
deeper than I could have imagined. (They also suffered from choices I made
after I left ISKCON in 1985.) I may suffer many lifetimes for not
protecting these souls within ISKCON and outside it. Thank you for writing all that you did. It is my
opinion that you are completely correct in your assessment of the entire
situation, and perfectly correct in your deep and abiding faith in the
Supreme Lord and in Srila Prabhupada. There is no other safe repose for
eternal faith. You will always be in my prayers, Raghunatha das, as
will my own children and past students. The reform of ISKCON will
naturally fall to all of you who will be willing and faithful to the
Supreme Lord Sri Krsna and Srila Prabhupada. The rest of “us” will
just as naturally be picked off by time. Please study the shastra carefully for it is
your own and know that your life has more purpose than any of us can know.
Take care. Counted among the least disciples of Srila
