Although I have had little contact with Tamal Krishna
Goswami over the past twenty two years, I had spent a considerable amount of
time with him on the Radha Damodara party back in the mid ‘70s, when we
traveled with the late Visnujana Swami. I find the current character
assassination of him by certain individuals to be utterly deplorable.
One memory of him that stands out in my mind is a
lecture he gave in New Vrindavan on Vyasa Puja in 1974. He spoke of presenting a
first class image of ourselves as Vaisnavas. He spoke of paying attention to our
personal appearance and the need to be well dressed and ideally wearing flower
garlands in public. He spoke of being on our best behavior in public at all
times.
I have always known him to be a man of principle and

the doubt in the poison allegations is a heinous miscarriage of justice and a
travesty. I would advise those that are waging that witch hunt campaign to
reconsider their actions and beg for the good Goswami’s forgiveness for this
aparadha.
