A Reply to Krpanidhi Prabhu's Letter

Dear Krpanidhi Prabhu,

Please accept my humble obeisances. All glories to Srila Prabhupada.

When Srila Prabhupada was asked the same question, he said all his books could be distributed. He gave the example of a sugar doll that is sweet no matter where you taste it.

My personal experience is that people even sometimes appreciate CC Antya Lilas. However, it is a question that should be directed to the BBT and GBC. It seems there is a general idea that people should be introduced to basic books first. I mainly distribute medium books like Isopanisad myself. But the nectar of distributing Srimad Bhagavatam can not be underestimated. And the benefit the receiver gets is also special, and permanent.

Srila Prabhupada states that even if they read one word or a sentence from Srimad Bhagavatam they will eternally benefit, and this is based on a verse in the end of the 12th Canto. Also in the First Canto there is that famous verse that states this Srimad Bhagavatam will bring about a revolution in the lives of impious men.
