Today, sir, you have completed twenty-six years of bhakti-yoga practice. And with only a few shameful lapses, you have honored your vows faithfully. Yet despite such diligence, you do not have any insight into your eternal spiritual identity.

In 1974, His Divine Grace A.C. Bhaktivedanta Swami Prabhupada, the Founder-Acarya of the International Society for Krishna Consciousness (ISKCON), introduced daily guru puja in all ISKCON centers, a tradition that continues today.

I'm sitting in a room with light now falling outside here in Germany, about 40 minutes drive from Neuremberg. My Salagram Silas are packed away, I've had breakfast, and now we're getting ready to drive to Heidelberg. Tomorrow I will fly back to England.

As has been a recent tradition here in Vancouver for our Gaura Purnima festival, (the appearance of Lord Caitanya), we also advertise the celebration of Holi. The primary festival is Lord Caitanya Mahaprabhu's Appearance Day celebration.

Excerts from a Lecture by His Holiness Radhanatha Maharaja

Within Srila Prabhupada's society everyone is meant to share Prabhupada's message. Therefore, however many initiating or instructing spiritual masters there may be and however many disciples may be following them, the aim is very much one.

This evening, March 21st,recently elevated Cardinal Avery Dulles, gave the annual McGinley Lecture at Fordham Preparatory School in the Bronx, New York. The topic of his Eminence's lecture was "Religious Freedom: A Developing Doctrine."

Recently on Saturday 3rd March 2001 at Bhaktivedanta Manor I had the most wonderful experience that brought the devotee community together in the most joyous and devotional mood. This helped me gradually to fulfill all my responsibilities as a father and helped me promote the mood of a serious disciple of Srila Prabhupada, kanya-dana which is the duty according to Vedic system in marriage.

What follows is a response to the picture being painted in some circles that the GBC rejected the reorganization plan coming out of the European and North American IC meetings, and proposed by Ravindra Svarupa prabhu, due to attachment, ineptitude, or systemic paralysis.

Pilgrim's Diary - March 23, 2001 (Abenteuer, Germany): It's pouring rain outside my window. Last week, I'm told, there was three inches of snow here. Some of it is still around in patches, though it is not very cold outside. It's Friday, and they tell me this weekend the weather should become warm and clear.

CHAKRA (Germany) - March 23, 2001: Recently CHAKRA published an erroneous article authored by me announcing that Hari Sauri Prabhu, in resigning as the Minister of Jyotish, was placing Syamasundara Prabhu, a senior devotee and astrologer, as the interim Minister until reconfirmation at next year's Mayapur meetings.

I'm sitting in my seat on Royal Brunei Airlines flight number 107. The aircraft has not begun to move yet. First stop will be Dubai, where we have to wait for 6 hours before our flight to London. There's a couple of passengers that they are waiting for who are held up at the immigration line.

The big question on a number of our reader's minds, of course, is what happened to my missing baggage? Well...

About an hour ago I phoned and spoke to Joya Chattergee, a helpful lady who works for Indian Airlines. She was very apologetic about my suitcase. She said that because there isn't a flight to Calcutta every day, Kathmandu sent the suitcase to New Delhi.

The Sheiks arrived yesterday at Mayapur where we were taken to the Samadhi. His Holiness Jayapataka swami was there along with about five students from the Gurukula and garlands. The students from the Gurukula chanted prayers welcoming the delegation.

Today we left Mayapur at 5.30 am for Calcutta where we would catch a plane to Bhubhaneswar. His Holiness Jayapataka Swami was traveling on the same flight. We arrived in Bhubhanesvara around 12am.

On March 1, I woke up with my left eye quivering. I remembered reading somewhere in Srila Prabhupada's books that such quivering is either an auspicious or inauspicious omen. I wanted to check the books to find out which one it was, but by the time I finished my rounds and did my puja it was time to go on sankirtan.

Large numbers of people all over Europe are turning away from meat and embracing vegetarianism, partly due to fears related to BSE and "Foot-and-Mouth" Disease. The "Sankirtan-Allianz" in Germany wants to help them by producing a new cookbook together with the European BBT.

12 March, Watford. The Mayor of Hertsmere, Cllr Audrey Attwood praised the Hare Krishna movement for the feeling of tolerance and peace cultivated in its temples all over the world. She said this during a visit to Bhaktivedanta Manor on 11 March to celebrate the festival of Holi and Gaura Purnima. She was accompanied by the Mayor of Elstree and Borehamwood, Jean Haywood.

We have heard now for years this kind of criticism of Narayana Maharaja coming from different leaders and other members of our movement.

On the 17th of February 2001, 60-70 devotees, mainly from ISKCON Manila, took part in one of the biggest and most famous festivals here in the Philippines, the annual flower-festival-parade in Baguio, and a large town North of Manila.

Yesterday (Sunday 11^th March) Tribhuvannatha flew to Brazil for treatment from the same healer who has been helping Sridhar Swami.

He will be receiving the treatment on Wednesday 14^th March between 06:00 and 08:00 GMT. I would humbly request devotees around the world to think of Tribhuvannatha Prabhu in their prayers and to go on Harinama or hold Kirtan for him during these hours.

CHAKRA (Mayapur, India) - March 10, 2001: Hari Sauri dasa has decided to retire as the ISKCON Minister of Jyotish (astrology) and put astrologer Syamasudara Prabhu as Interim Minister pending confirmation at next year's GBC meeting. It was a post that Hari Sauri held for many years but claims he didn't do much with.

You are all aware of the most devastating earthquake in the recent history of the world that shook up the whole Indian subcontinent from Kerala to Nepal and Pakistan to Calcutta. I have never heard of such a wide spread earthquake. It really shook up Gujarat.

Last night after watching the beautiful golden full moon rise on the eastern horizon amid kirtan and an abhisheka of the Chaitanya-Nityananda deities, I was invited to the roof of the lotus building for a feast sponsored by Jayapataka Swami for senior devotees, sannyasis and former gurukulis.

Mayapur, India - (March 8, 2001): Tribhuvannatha Prabhu, a senior disciple of Srila Prabhupada who joined ISKCON in England soon after devotees first arrived there, has been diagnosed with terminal cancer while visiting Nairobi, Africa.

You know, I have a complaint about Krishna. It's true that He always saves His devotees, but generally He does it only at the last moment.

However it is evident by now, that wherever Narayana Maharaja goes, division develops, and due to relentless proselytizing of his followers, communities are being disrupted by sectarian strife and disharmony.

Mayapur, India - (March 8, 2001): A recent outbreak of Foot and Mouth Disease is threatening ISKCON cows in the United Kingdom. Bhaktivedanta Manor, ISKCON's European Headquarters, presently has about 30 cows and bulls who may become infected with the disease if proper precautions are not taken.

Mumbai, India - Bhaktivedanta Hospital, which provides holistic health care with equal emphasis on the needs of the body, mind and soul, continues to make a marked difference to the lives of those affected by the devastation of the Gujurat earthquake of 26 January 2001.

Today is Caitanya Mahaprabhu's appearance day, so we must discuss this very thoroughly, that, that Rupa Gosvami understood it. Therefore we have to go through guru. Rupa Gosvami is our guru. Narottama dasa Thakura said, rupa-raghunatha-pade, hoibe akuti, kabe hama bujhabo, sri-yugala-piriti.

I'm feeling anxiety and am praying to my Govardhan and Salagram Silas that are with me. I've been looking forward to this trip for a long time, but if the flight doesn't leave soon everything will be screwed up because my return flight to India is still on March 7th.

The Krishna temple in Spanish Fork invites all members of the public to celebrate the festival of Holi on Sunday, March 11th, from 4 pm. The festival will be observed with storytelling, musical interludes, the building of a bonfire, and the throwing of dry colors on friends and foe alike.

Actually, I do appreciate that CHAKRA reports rather liberally, but agree with Pancha Tattva Prabhu that the article addressed to Narayan Maharaja was not in good taste.

If it is his disciples then they should stop this childish behavior as I am sure that if the temple is firm with them. It is only to protect their congregation and temple from these so called people who have like disturbing the activities of all Srila Prabhupada�s temples around the world.

It would be so much better if the "f" word could be a little disguised ie. f#*k or something similar.

I learned something Interesting in Jagannath Puri yesterday morning from Mr. Singh at the Birla Guest House. Jomsom, on the Gandaki River where I will eventually be going in a few days, flows directly between Dhaulagiri and Annapurna, both mountains over 26,700 feel - comparable to Mount Everest. I should be able to see them as the airplane passes between them as it goes up the valley to Jomsom. According to Mr. Singh, it is said that the monkey servant Hanuman in service of Laksman and Rama carried Dhaulagiri's mountain peak away. This mountain, therefore, is famous to the devotees of Lord Rama.
